Hello! Ted (Therapy Dog) and I (Cindy Brosig, RN) provide social and emotional support classes for children ages 5yrs-14yrs who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. We are fortunate to be able to work out of our finished barn on 6 beautiful acres of farmland in Marshall, WI, just 15 minutes from downtown Madison, WI. I completed my Masters in Nursing, with an emphasis in Animal-Assisted Therapy, in 2016, and received a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy for the Healthcare Provider in 2018. Bridging evidenced based practice research and the heartfelt connection animals bring to individuals of all ages who may be experiencing challenging transitions in life, we work together to help children heal and be well so they grow up to be healthy adults and successful community (ultimately worldly!) members.
