Born and raised near the Milwaukee area, I received my Bachelor’s, my Master’s, and my Gifted
Coordinator’s license from UW-Whitewater. I have enjoyed and learned from gifted students on
my journey as a classroom teacher for 24 years and as a GT Coordinator for the past nine.
Having been blessed with gifted twin daughters, I have also gained valuable knowledge and
insights as the parent of gifted children. Through it all, my goals have centered around
educating and nurturing the whole child, learning from them, encouraging them, and providing
for their academic, social, and emotional needs. I continue to be amazed by this fascinating
group of young people.
