Jean Fugate often shares with people, "Eighteen years ago, Destination Imagination changed my son's life.  Sixteen years ago, I raised my hand to volunteer as his team manager.  And my life changed forever."  Jean Fugate has a background in health care, and has been married to a teacher for over 30 years.  Jean has spent her entire life experiencing the changes, challenges and demands in education throughout the state.  Involvement in Destination Imagination has provided her an opportunity to educate, encourage and develop skill in students.  Those skills include creativity, team work, problem solving, critical thinking and quick thinking all while having fun.  Currently Jean is the Affiliate Tournament Director for the Wisconsin affiliate, where top DI teams from throughout Wisconsin enjoy an energetic competitive day.
